Kindergarten Registration

Step 1: Is my child eligible for kindergarten?

A child is eligible for entrance into kindergarten if he/she attains the age of five (5) on or before August 1st of the year in which he/she applies for entrance. 

Step 2: Complete the online registration in FinalForms.

Green Local Schools uses FinalForms to register students.  

• Print or read the FINAL FORMS GUIDE before you begin the online registration process.
• If you are new to Green Local Schools, click here to create a FinalForms account (you must have an account to register your student).
• If you already have a student attending Green Local Schools, you should already have a FinalForms account and can click here to log in. (if you forget your password, please follow the forgot passord steps to rest it.)

Step 3: Review resources and prepare for Kindergarten

• Kindergarten Screening -Be sure to  have your child attend the screening date you selected in your FinalForms registration.  Our screening focuses on the 16 for Success skills. (see below).
• • READ - This is the easiest and most helpful thing you can do.  Read daily to your child.  Fifteen minutes a day will go a long way to help the prepare for Kinderagarten.
  • 16 for Success - Practice these 16 skills to help your child become ready to learn. 
  • Ready for Kindergarten - This physical, social and emotional guide from the Ohio Deparment of Education can help you prepare your child for the transition to Kindergarten.
