The Plan

The Board of Education has approved an architectural agreement with Sol Harris/Day Architecture, Inc. and a construction manager agreement with Hammond Construction, Inc. to facilitate the following plans associated with the community-supported upgrades to district facilities, including: renovations to Green Primary School which will house students in preschool through grade 1; construction of a new elementary school (grades 2- 5); construction of a new middle school (grades 6-8); and abatement and demolition of Greenwood Early Learning Center, Green Intermediate School, and the existing Green Middle School.

The District Leadership Team and first responders from the Summit County Sheriff's Office and Green Fire Department have participated in numerous site visits, researching best practices and lessons learned from districts that have utilized both our architect and construction firms.
