Chromebook Information

As part of Green Local School’s mission, it is our desire to create a technology-rich learning environment that will provide students the opportunity to succeed in their unique life endeavors while preparing them for an advanced education.  

Green Local Schools will use electronic resources, accessed on Chromebooks, as powerful and compelling means for students to learn core subjects and applied skills in relevant and rigorous ways. These personal learning devices will allow us to further individualize learning experiences, expand learning beyond the walls of our school, and create unique opportunities to engage students in learning that would not otherwise be possible. It is the goal to provide students with rich and ample opportunities to use 21st Century technology skills for learning in schools just as individuals in workplaces and other real-life settings use these tools. Use of devices at school and at home will enable students to access digital curriculum, communicate, learn, share, collaborate and create; to think and solve problems; to manage their work and develop the skills necessary to be responsible users of the digital world in which we live.
