Gifted Identification
Has your child been newly identified as gifted? Are you new to Green and have a child identified as gifted? Please take a few minutes to watch this welcome video.
“Gifted” means a student who performs or shows potential for performing at remarkably high levels of accomplishment when compared to others of their age, experience or environment, and who are identified under Division (A), (B), (C), or (D) of Section 3324.93 of the Revised Code.
All Ohio schools are required to screen and identify gifted students in grades K-12 (3324.04 O.R.C.); however, Ohio does not mandate services for gifted students. Districts must determine what services, if any, can be provided.
