Green Local Schools assesses the learning needs and academic achievement of each student on a regular basis. Assessment practices include but are not limited to teacher observation, regular diagnostic and formative data collection, regular formative feedback, quarterly short-cycle assessments, common summative assessments, state performance-based assessments and state end-of-year or end-of-course assessments.
From Kindergarten forward, parents may monitor their children's progress through a web-based application called

Progress for students in grades K-3 is reported to parents quarterly and through ProgressBook based on a developmental growth scale. Check with your child's teacher for more information. Students in Kindergarten through grade 3 are also subject to
Ohio's Third Grade Reading Guarantee.
Progress for students in grades 4-12 is reported to parents quarterly and through ProgressBook based on the Board of Education approved
district grading scale.
