Become a Learning Buddy

Become a Learning Buddy

Learning Buddies Description
Learning Buddies is a weekly, one on one mentoring program that works to support classroom instruction and strengthen reading and math skills for our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders.
Each Buddy strives to build a positive adult/student relationship that conveys a love of reading while also building self-assurance and problem solving skills in math. The “Buddy Box” provides Buddies with tools to strengthen reading mechanics and comprehension while playing repetitive math games tailored to each student’s needs. The goal of the program is to help every Buddy stay on track, meeting their year-end performance targets.
Commitment
