STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS - 4/26/18
The Green High School Talent Show is TONIGHT at 7pm.  All proceeds for the Talent Show will be given to a local charity. $2 during lunch or at the door.

GHS Softball presents: Knock Cancer Out of the Park on April 27th at 5pm at the GHS Softball Stadium.  All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. If students would like to purchase a t-shirt, orders are $10 and are due to Mrs. Shullick or their favorite softball player on Friday by noon.  

MayaTux will be here to take care of your Prom Tuxedo needs on Monday, April 30th during lunch periods.

Next week April 30th- May 4th is late start week due to AIR testing. Only those students required to test will report to school in the morning at 7:15 am.  Student who ride the bus, but do not need to take a test, will report to the Commons for a study hall.  Classes for ALL students will begin at 9:20. Any students reporting to school after 9:20 will be considered tardy.

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY TO DONATE TO HARVEST FOR HUNGER. Donations can be turned in to the main office or in the donation box under the stairs in the main hallway.



Prom will be held at La Pizzaria on Saturday, May 19, 2018. A sit down dinner will be served promptly at 7 pm and dancing is from 8-11 pm. All tickets purchased between April 23-April 27 will be $55 each ($110 couple) and sold all week after school in the library.  Guest Forms are available in the main office and must be completed and turned in when you purchase tickets.

After Prom tickets will be sold in the Library April 23-27 after school.  Price is $15 each.  You must have a separate payment from your prom ticket.  *YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND PROM TO ATTEND AFTER PROM.  After next week, tickets will be sold in Mr. Granito's office after school on Mondays and Wednesdays.


Last Chance to purchase yearbooks….. $75 on sale until May 4th, go to jostensyearbooks.com or call 1-877-767-5217 to order.Any football player that is interested in earning a $1000.00 scholarship please get your application in the athletic or guidance office.

Bulldogfest is May 5th. T-shirts are on sale in the Paw Stop during all lunch periods. Cost is $10 each.  Proceeds this year will benefit Green’s Blessings in a Backpack.

Looking for a summer job?  Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Uniontown is hiring for many full and part time seasonal positions.  If you are interested, see Mrs. DeVitis in Student Services for an application.

If you are planning to be in yearbook class next year for the first time, make sure to pick up an application packet in the guidance office for you and your parents to complete, sign, and return to the main office.  Also, make sure to have at least two of your teachers complete recommendation forms.

Seniors: If you did not receive your graduation tickets, please check in the main office. If you need additional tickets, they will be available on a 1st come, 1st serve basis the week of May 7-11 in the main office.  Extra tickets will NOT be available prior to May 7th.

PLCC students can pick their graduation tickets up in the main office at GHS if they would like.  Every student has an envelope they will need to sign for, it includes 6 tickets.  More tickets can be requested the week of May 7th on a first come first serve basis.  If you are unable to pick your envelope up at GHS, the guidance counselors will bring them to the PLCC at a later date.  

Mrs. Mitchell still needs many sizes for the Senior Payback Day t-shirts.  See Google Classroom to submit those ASAP!
